I have a socialized adult feral myself. I stopped following kitten lady awhile ago because there was too much nonsense. We have a 1-year-old cat that has zero bite inhibition and bites all of the time. He’s from a farm but now lives indoors. Thoughts? Mother Of A T1D Warrior Shirt. I’ve been feeding a feral cat for about a year. She’s a small tortoiseshell I call Shelly. I believe she’s been TNR because the tip of her left ear has been clipped. She’s older but seems to be in good shape. She will come as close to me as long as her food bowl is between us. So I am just inches away. I’ve tried to get her to use a small dog house all winter but she wouldn’t go for it. I started trying to get her to come slightly into the garage to eat, but she doesn’t like it.

I figure if I can get her use to the garage as a safe place, maybe she will want to stay in there instead of outside in the bad weather. I am hoping that I will be able to get her to completely trust me one day and come into the house and let me take her to a vet. I don’t know how much she would like to be an indoor cat. She has such a sweet disposition. I would really like to adopt her. I hope our story has a happy ending like this one. Thanks for sharing this. It gives me hope. Mother Of A T1D Warrior Shirt.
